Explore information

the universe of mana isn't fully explored yet, in fact it has been barely explored at all.  due to the recent move  to this new universe, each faction has only had time to settle in and colonize  a few planets of there own. so both factions are rewarding  brave explorers for mapping out the solar system and finding objects for there faction.

to find a planet you must make a topic in the explore section of forum, at the start of the post say were you are exporing, IE in unkown space, or around a star, if there is a already discovered star you may also say your exploring in its solar stytem, if you do not say your exporing around in a already known star, we will assume that it is a new area you are exploring.

after that you will do a roleplay seaching in your ship for somthing, you may do this with more then one person, if you wish, if you do please say who will be joining you. after all players have posted once, a moderator will post if you have discovered anything. if you do not discover anything, you may continue searching or give up, it is up to you, however you will get no reward. even if you discover somthing, your work is not over, before you send the location of the discovery to your chossen faction, you may do extra work to get extra pay, IE if you find a large asteroid you may if your ship has the right gear, scan it to figure out what it is side it, a moderator will appear to say what your find once again, even if it turns out its almost completely usless rock, you wll get some extra pay for it. or maybe you discover a secret mining camp owned by the opposing faction on it, you may either report your findings to your faction, giving you money for both discoveres or you may deal with them yourself and then report, giving you money depending on how you dealt with it.

different discovery will net you different level of rewards. planets have of the potential to give the greatest rewards , depending on many different factors. after discovering it, some factors will told to your by the moderator, these things are all things that should be noticeable. if you wish to land on it, you must scan the planet in order to figure if it is possible to land. if the planet is a gass gaint you are unable to land on it no matter what, however scanning it will still net you extra money. scaning it now will tell you if there is any form of planet or animal life on the planet, among more things. the more powerful your sensors the better the information. after landing you may explore the surface, as soon as you land a moderator will make a post of what lifeforms you will find there. from them on you may make posts freely, intill you report your discovery. taking samples and other things of the planet will also grant you extra rewards, after every so many posts or a very big one, you may request for a moderator to update you. if he thinks you earned it, he may say you spot somthing in the distance, maybe a secert lab or a strange looking cave. going to it and doing whatever he has instore will grant you extra rewards.
